Mark Green (retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel) shares his unlikely journey from living with his single mom and five siblings in a log cabin and a series of trailers in rural Missouri to paving roads and living in a gypsy camp in Arkansas to enlisting in the U.S. Army. After being told that he’d never amount to anything and certainly never become an officer, Green used that as fuel. He became a champion Tae Kwon Do athlete of the first inaugural team that got the sport officially recognized by the military and went on to have a 34-year military career. His new mission is to help fellow Veterans and their families with resilience and transition.
